Teaching The Acronym I.P.E.T. To Create Duplication and Grow Your Network Marketing Business.
I'm going to talk to you today about an acronym that will help you grow and build your business exponentially through duplication. I want to teach you an acronym referred to as I.P.E.T. This has literally been around for decades inside of network marketing circles, but you may not have heard of it. I'm going to break it down, and if you will take this and apply it to your business, you're going to see exponential growth start to occur and that's exactly what you want inside of your network marketing business.
I've said it over and over again at my training and workshops. “It doesn't matter what works. The only thing that matters is what duplicates,” and this acronym is going to help you create duplication inside of your network marketing business and organization.
So what is I.P.E.T.?
- I=Invite or Invitation
This is a major skill inside of network marketing. You have to be able to do a proper invitation in order and get people to take a look at your business. That's an entirely different training topic. We don't have time to get into it in this video, but if you want to learn how to do proper invitation I highly recommend that you sign up for the free webinar right here on the website home page. There is about an hour full of content that is full of value teaching you how to get people to take a look at your business by doing proper invitations. Okay now that being said, you have to be able to do an invitation and teach your team and organization how to do a proper invitation, so spend some time with them on this.
You must be able to do a proper powerful presentation. You need your team and organization doing powerful presentations. I remember back in the day when I was scared to get up in front of a group of people. I would literally turn beet red and get very nervous. I look back at that time and compare it to now where it is nothing for me to get up and speak in front of thousands of people. Back then I would have never dreamt or seen myself doing that because I was so nervous speaking in front of large crowds. With that being said, I knew I had to learn how to do it and get through that uncomfortable feeling of speaking in front of people.
All right. That's another million dollar tip. $$$ Get comfortable being uncomfortable $$$. The person holding the marker is the one that's going to make the most money and it's going to open up additional opportunities for you and your team or organization. You're going to get really good at doing presentations, and you will get asked by your corporate leadership team, the corporate office, or the corporate staff to get up and do the presentations for the company events. When you do this, you never know who's in the audience that can take you and your career to a whole new dimension and open up new doors of opportunity.
A lot of people don't get people to sign up for their business because they don't ask for the person to do anything. They don't ask them to take an action step. Sometimes people just need a push to get a decision made. So teach your folks how to enroll someone correctly. Ask for the sale and teach them how to get started correctly. Show them how to get a check. In other words, enroll them versus just signing them up.
- T=Teach or Train
Teach and train them how to do I.P.E.T. Teach them how to invite, present, enroll, and train. Train and teach them how to train other people how to invite, present, enroll, and train. Do this over and over and over again with your team and organization. Teach them to do the same thing and you're going to experience incredible growth in your network marketing business. My best advice would be to learn how to ask great questions. This is a much-needed skill that many don’t teach inside of network marketing. Great questions can be great conversation starters, as well as, great invitations.
