We've all heard the saying “you have two ears and one mouth, so you should listen twice as much as you speak.” Or how about Zig Ziglar's famous quote, “You can get everything in life that you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.”
Now my question to you is this. How do you know what other people want, need, or desire if you don't listen to them?

If you can learn to sincerely listen to people and find out what it is that they truly desire, or what is causing them pain (no time, not enough money, too much stress, bad job situation, etc.), you will never run out of people to talk to about your business opportunity. It sounds simple and very elementary, but it never ceases to amaze me how many network marketers do not do this. They just show up and throw up their network marketing business opportunity the second they arrive.
